When we talk about clean food we are always looking for organic ingredients that is why or sourdough bread fits in this category because the natural ingredients that it has on it are water, flour, salt and a starter that was previous previously made with yeast. Nowadays people are more concerned about what food they consume so, they continuously look for organic food without any preservatives. A limited benefits for consuming clean foods bring more health to our bodies because many of these preservatives cause inflammation to the body which feed different health conditions and sometimes these can advance and to a chronic disease. That’s why it is more recommendable to intake good quality food.

Sourdough bread could be mistaken as a simple bread but the process of fermentation that takes longer is what benefits the digestive system. The artisan process is made by making it by hand and taking care of the fermentation process in a traditional way. What does it bring to sourdough bread the natural fermentation?  The answer is it improves the flavor on it, the nutritional quality and it is easier to digest in comparison with bread made with refined ingredients.

It is important to add that this kind of breath also doesn’t contain any preservative like another commercial breads which means this is part of clean food that is safe to eat.
